- Can I listen to music and watch DVDs/videos from library materials?
- Yes. Please use the AV booths. Headphones can be checked out at the counter.
- Can I bring my laptop computer into the library?

Yes. The library has a wireless LAN environment, but it does not support wired connections.
(Only PCs that have been approved for wireless LAN access on campus can use this service.) - How can I use a private room?
- You need to apply for a private room. Please come to the counter with your student ID card.
- How can I use the group study rooms in the library?
- Please fill out the application form at the counter.
- Can I eat and drink in the library?

Eating or drinking is not allowed, but you can drink if it has a lid (PET bottles, drink bottles etc.).
At the Omiya Library's refreshment corner, eating and drinking are allowed. - Are there vending machines for PET bottles in the library?
- There are no vending machines. There is a water cooler in the newspaper corner on the first floor of the Omiya Library.
- Is there a place where I can make cell phone calls?

Toyosu There is no area inside the library where you can make calls. Please call outside the library. Omiya Please go out to the terrace on each floor or use the refreshment corner on the 1st floor to make calls. - Can I adjust the temperature?
- The temperature can’t be adjusted because the air conditioning is controlled. Please use fans or blankets available for loan at the counter.
- I have lost something.
- Please ask at the library counter. Lost items delivered to the library will normally be delivered to the Student Affairs Section on the same day or the next day.
- Are glue and staplers available?
- Yes, they are available for loan at the counter.
- I can’t concentrate because of keyboards and calculators around me in the reading area.

There are several types of copiers as follows.

No. The photocopy machines in the library are set up for copying services (reproduction of library materials) in accordance with Article 31 of the Copyright Law.
If you make copies of non-library materials, you may be in violation of the copyright law. - Can I exchange money to use the coin-operated copy machine?
- Currency exchange is not available at the library. Please have change ready in advance.
